Meet our Team

Tomáš Kotlár is one of the prominent figures of Czech hairdressing.

He has worked in the trade for more than 35 years. As early as 1991, shortly after completing his apprenticeship, he opened his first atelier, Picasso, and became the first L’Oréal ambassador; in 2007 he opened the first franchise salon.

He has worked with brands such as L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase and Revlon Professional, created his own educational program, Krok za krokem (Step by Step), and founded the Junior Hair Show to support young hairdressing talent.

He believes that every hairstyle is a unique work that should reflect the personality of the person wearing it, which is why he combines modern trends with precise technique and a personal style.

He is one of five Czech ambassadors of L’Oréal Professionnel and one of the first members of the HCF (Haute Coiffure Française) artistic team in the Czech Republic, based in Paris.

He has taken part in many seminars in the Czech Republic and abroad, works in photography and prepares training for L’Oréal Professionnel, and speaks at congresses. He helped style the hair for Czech Miss and has several times been a finalist in the prestigious competition for the Best Kérastase Advisor in the Czech and Slovak Republics. He loves creating beautiful, feminine hairstyles and coloring them, but his clients include men as well.

His main specialty and passion is evening and formal hairstyling, which he studied at the prestigious Alexandre de Paris academy in Paris, and he now trains other hairdressers in these styles himself. He also assists leading hairdressers from around the world in creating collections and shows in Paris.

His motto: “There is nothing more beautiful and rewarding than a woman who leaves me beautiful and smiling!”

He is one of the longest-serving hairdressers in our Atelier.

Over more than twenty years of practice he has gathered a great deal of experience and completed countless training courses from the brands L’Oréal, Kérastase, Matrix and Redken. As he says himself, his favorite activity is the most creative part of our profession – cutting. Every woman and every head of hair is a unique original and must be approached as such. When a perfect cut is combined with a carefully chosen, radiant color, every client leaves as an unmistakable work of art.

Silva has worked in Tomáš Kotlár’s Picasso salon since 2004.

Her work reflects precision and attention to detail. Combining these two strengths with a personal approach is her main priority and brings Silva many satisfied customers.

Proof that she lives up to her motto to the fullest is Mahulena Bočanová, who has been trusting her hair to Silva’s hands for several years.

Adam has extensive experience styling hair for fashion shows.

He has completed all the training courses from Kérastase Paris and L’Oréal Professionnel. He specializes in diagnosing hair and scalp. His hairstyles are practical, so clients have no trouble styling them at home themselves. With his clients, healthy hair is the priority, and he follows the motto: “Beauty lies in simplicity.”

For nine years he worked in a salon that was a member of the world hairdressing association HCF Haute Coiffure Française (high-fashion hairdressing).

He has experience styling hair for fashion shows and photo shoots. He also helped style the hair of the contestants at Miss Deaf World and Czech Miss.

In 2009 he took part in the prestigious knowledge competition “Best Hairdresser-Advisor of Kérastase” for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where he placed just below the finalists. That is why it is no problem for him to put together a program tailored to your hair and scalp, to your satisfaction. Working in the salon is a reward in itself for Milan. He can handle all hair lengths, cuts and colors. For the more adventurous, he can even draw an ornament or symbol with clippers.

And his motto? “The best approach to clients is only possible when the work is your hobby and your reward.”

Evža is a creative hairdresser with more than 10 years of experience in the field.

In 2016 she took part in the Hair Maraton event held for the Tereza Maxová Foundation for Children. Evža values naturalness but is not afraid of more extravagant creations in color and cut, has a sense for detail and always tries to create exactly the hairstyle her customers wish for.

Sandra has been part of our salon since 2006, with a short break during maternity leave.

Hairdressing is her passion, and she most enjoys highlighting techniques, coloring and cutting, which allow her to create a hairstyle for every client just as she imagines it. She also specializes in hair extensions and hair thickening using tape-in extensions. She approaches her work with enthusiasm and care, because she believes that beautiful hair and a satisfied client go hand in hand.

I’m a hairdresser for whom the work is about more than just hair. I enjoy finding a style that truly suits a person and in which they feel good.

What I enjoy most is working with color and its possibilities. I like to work individually, according to each client’s ideas, and to find a solution that will truly suit them.

Besides coloring, I also do braiding and hairstyles with kanekalon. Men’s haircuts are also part of my work.

I keep moving forward in my field, following new techniques and trends and gladly expanding my knowledge. I believe that it is precisely the combination of experience, creativity and the willingness to keep learning that moves me forward as a hairdresser.

Our lovely receptionist Jitka loves her job, and it shows in her welcoming attitude toward our valued clients, whom she is delighted to look after, helping them with everything, explaining and booking their appointments.

During your visit to our Atelier she will make you our excellent coffee and bring it with a smile, and your day will instantly be more pleasant.

Anička focuses on individual care for hair and scalp.

In her work she also uses hair and scalp diagnostics with a trichology camera, which helps her better determine their needs and recommend suitable care.

She most enjoys creating wedding and formal hairstyles, but she is happy to do all hairdressing services. The greatest reward is when you leave satisfied and smiling.

Leoš Kozák joined Tomáš Kotlár’s team in 2016, when after 22 years in the restaurant business he returned to the trade he had trained in.

At first he was the manager of Thai massages, and in 2019 he took over the management of the hair salon. In 2013 he completed his education and successfully graduated from a business academy.

In his own words, a dream has come true: he gets to work with people, use his many years of experience from the restaurant business, and at the same time take care of office duties and new projects such as the Junior Hair Show, in whose realization he took part. Client satisfaction comes first for him.
